Go ahead ask me anything Volume 1

This is my first of what I hope to become a regular series of the Go Ahead and Ask Me Anything forum. We all have unique thoughts and perspectives on things in the world around us, whether its music, politics, brewing beer, or hang-gliding. We can all learn from each other, so lets do that. Go ahead, ask me anything!
And if you haven't already please sign up to my mailing list and like my Facebook Page so we can stay connected!

Hmmm, I wonder who this could be? Sounds like a question from Pennsylvania. Do I lift? Because your question was tagged with the virile "bro" moniker , I am going to assume you mean "Do I even lift weights?.....bro?" . If so, then yes i do lift. I try and get to the gym and lift at least 4 times a week. Mostly , its an excuse to go sit in the Jacuzzi for a half hour and think of lyrics to unfinished songs and watch the people laugh at me as they catch me singing barely discernible lyrics with my eyes closed, alone, in the Jacuzzi. But i digress. So yes I do lift. I lift so much i could rip off a music stand bolted to a stage floor with two fingers on my weak hand. And since both my arms have equal strength, as in, massively strong, it doesn't matter what hand i use to rip the said bolted down music stand from its moorings. Hopefully you little weakling, that answered your question.....next! :-)

Hi John! I love everything about your music! When's the next time you or your band are playing near the Seacoast?

How did you get into software engineering? Which is harder to master, music or code?

Paul, I get my inspiration from other great artist and musicians who are doing what they love to do. It inspires me to do the same. That's a general answer to the question. If you are asking about inspiration for songs or what not, it comes from varying sources. I can be inspired by one simple line that pops into my head and boom, next thing ya know its a song. But ya for the most part what inspires me is great artists and great people. I'm always looking for those who keep the bar raised high.

Hey Julie, Not sure. I am trying to get the new record finished and am planning doing some touring to support it. That is in the planning stage as we speak. Sign up to the mailing list if you haven't already and I will keep ya posted!!!

Lui Buddy!!! I got into software engineering because a place I worked for as a System's Engineer, lost their software guy and knew I was going to school for Computer Science so they were like.."Hey, you know what a For loop is?" and I was like...uh..ya. And they said "Great! You are now the Senior Software Engineer of our Test Tracking Systems for all of HPs Nearline Integration Testing sites. And I went....uh...ok, I'll try that. Seriously that's how it happened for me. The rest is history. You could say music is harder to master because, really, you can never really master your craft.
